We are using HDHMR for acrylic glass shutters and polymer shutters.
HDHMR (High Density, High Moisture Resistance) characteristics include high density, high moisture resistance, borer resistance, termite resistance, and a ready-to-use smooth surface. HDHMR is manufactured using hard wood, and its density is over 850 kg/m3. It has a uniform density gradient and a compact core, which give it the best routing characteristics.

Advantages -
Aesthetics Gives the kitchen a high glossy, elegant appearance when compared to a laminate or membrane finish. Also offers brilliant color shades. Long-lasting finish and gloss.
Durability Handle wear and tear due to its hard-wearing nature. Water-resistance properties, UV light, and scratch-resistant nature Variety Available in a wide range of colors and finishes.
Longevity Retains glossiness, long lasting finish a considerable number of years
Easy cleaning This can be easily cleaned with a soft cotton cloth, mild soap, and water. Don’t wipe it harder with a wet cloth and don’t use any detergent.
Disadvantages -
Aesthetics Regular care is needed As the finish is high gloss and mirror-reflective it is prone and due to daily chores happening over the surface it is prone to fingerprints and stains. But it is still manageable if care is taken with regular cleaning.

Cost Considered a premium finish, the acrylic finish is more expensive when compared to laminate finishes.
Difficulties in replacing Shading differences might occur when replacing kitchen cabinet doors of the same hue after years of use.
